Fabio Capello’s campaign to learn English appears to have been a considerable success, but here at Capello Learn English, we’re not quite ready to start patting ourselves on the back over a job well done.
We realise that even though computer software and phrase books are a great way of learning English, or any foreign language for that matter, the language of football is something that you cannot find in any book or computer programme.
And that’s where you come in.
We want you to submit the phrases that you think Fabio will need during his four-year stay in England.
Does Capello know all the unusual press terms? Does he know what a WAG is? Has he memorised all the stock phrases that he’ll need when the media come calling?
Submit the phrases that you think Capello will need whilst he is in charge of the national team and help us to take Capello’s campaign to learn English to the next level!

We couldn’t ask for a better manager Fabio. In fact, most fans I know think you’re some kind of super-hero. All the best for the upcoming friendlies (we’ve started recording England matches again in my house) and for the WC qualifying campaign. One single piece of advice for you: ignore the media!! They get their fun out of hindering progress, not helping.
